OK BrickFans,
I have a few renderings for the iPod Touch (4th generation) case. Essentially there are (currently) two ideas. The first surrounds the camera lens with a depression that fits an 8-tooth Tecnic gear. (Yes, the depression is the same size as an actual Tecnic gear, so it will fit inside the hole.)
The second is a minifig face. The two renderings here show the face with, and without an 'outline' to set it off from the rest of the case.
Comment below, or send e-mail. Let us know what you prefer.
I think I prefer the minifig face w/ outline, but regardless - I'm in.
ReplyDeleteSame here! The little smiley face is cute! Perfect to encourage a smile without all that "say cheese" crap! ;D That said, I'll get whatever comes out.
ReplyDeletebtw I thik I like better the face without the outline, it seems more clean to me.
ReplyDeleteI think the face is more awesome because I can't understand why someone would put a Technic gear there and cover up the camera.
ReplyDeleteThe Technic one looks like some random starburst type pattern.
Mini-Fig!
ReplyDeleteSo - are we there yet?!?!?! My iPod sits weeping, waiting for enbrickification.
ReplyDeleteThe designer is putting the final touches on the CAD file for the case this week. Then we "go to steel" (make molds).
ReplyDeleteIt's the mini-fig face, btw.
Minifig with outline!
ReplyDeleteMinifig without outline.
ReplyDeleteAny status update you'd be willing to share?
